I scrolled through the comments where people are commenting on him struggling, etc. I think he transcended the masterpiece; unfortunately, many are stuck on the technicalities, tempo, etc.. I have quite a few recording of Don Giovanni, including the most perfectly groomed ones, none touched me as much as this interpretation. But it is all subjective, isn't it? That's what the art is about.

Que feo final! Cortó horrible el "Vicino al sol". y además le hace un bis, que no está en la partitura. Es un final pianisimo y aquí...lo grita y lo corta!...horrible final.

Senza paragoni in questa aria lui é l'unico. Bravissimo Furlanetto
